Terms of Service
Section 1. Scope
These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") apply to all contracts between Schreiner Content Systems (hereinafter "Provider") and users (hereinafter "User") for the use of the knowledge platform "Schreiner Content Systems" (hereinafter "Platform") at schreinercontentsystems.de.
Deviating terms of the User will not be accepted unless the Provider expressly agrees to them in writing.
Section 2. Subject Matter
The Provider operates a digital knowledge platform with educational and informational content on political communications. The following is offered:
- Free tier: publicly accessible articles and resources
- Account tier: expanded access following free registration
- Exclusive tier: exclusive access for pricing available on request (one-time or monthly)
The accessible content constitutes digital products.
Section 3. Contract Formation
A contract for paid content is concluded upon completion of the checkout process. By clicking "Purchase Content," the User makes a binding offer; the contract is concluded with the Provider's confirmation email.
Section 4. Registration and Account
Users may register for free access to certain content. Registration requires a valid email address, which must be verified to activate the account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Users may delete their account at any time through Account Settings. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be removed in accordance with applicable law.
Section 5. Usage Rights and Restrictions
The Provider grants the User a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Platform for personal purposes only. It is prohibited to:
- Copy, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit content
- Share access credentials or make them available to multiple persons
- Circumvent technical protection measures
- Perform automated access (scraping) without express written permission
- Use the Platform for illegal purposes
Section 6. Prohibited Uses
Users agree not to:
- Share login credentials with third parties
- Use the Platform to scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data
- Engage in any illegal activity via the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Disrupt or interfere with the Platform's functionality
Section 7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Paid access to digital content may be subject to a 14-day cancellation period in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. Once a User has received access to digital content and confirmed receipt, cancellation may no longer be possible, depending on jurisdiction and applicable law.
Section 8. Liability Disclaimer
The Provider assumes no warranty for the completeness, accuracy, or technical correctness of the learning content. The content does not constitute legal, tax, or campaign advice.
The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform. The Platform is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.
Section 9. Availability and Changes
The Provider aims for 99% platform availability on an annual basis but makes no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work will be announced where possible. The Provider reserves the right to update, supplement, or remove Platform content.
Section 10. Account Cancellation
Free accounts can be deleted at any time through Settings → Account. Paid subscriptions may be canceled at the end of the current billing period. The Provider reserves the right to suspend access immediately if Users violate these Terms.
Section 11. Privacy and Data Protection
Information regarding the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. For EU users, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. For non-EU users, applicable local privacy laws apply.
Section 12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. For EU consumers, the laws of their country of residence may apply if those laws provide greater consumer protection. Any disputes shall be resolved according to applicable law in the jurisdiction most favorable to the User.
Section 13. Changes to Terms
The Provider may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users via email or through prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
